Lucy was born and raised in Lancashire but has deep family roots on the Wirral. She is a classically trained singer with a BA Hons Music Degree from The University of Leeds and an MA Distinction in Acting Musical Theatre from The Central School of Speech and Drama. She has achieved ABRSM Grade 8 Singing and Piano.
Whilst training she performed in various shows including Copacabana, Return To The Forbidden Planet, Joseph, Grease, Company, The Wizard of Oz, A Chorus Line and Oklahoma.
Professional credits include: Haven’t Stopped Dancing Yet (The Southport Theatre), Hollywood Hits (UK Tour), Vocal Captain and Lead Singer on Cunard’s Queen Mary II Cruise Ship, Apassionata (The Sporting Club, Monte Carlo), Hooked The Musical, playing Monique (Edinburgh Fringe Festival and London), Rock At The Opera (Portugal), Rock Around The Clock, playing Connie Francis (UK Number 1 Tour and Monte Carlo TV Festival), Vocal Captain and Lead Singer on Seabourn Odyssey 6* luxury yacht and Disney Cruise Line (Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream).
Between performing jobs, Lucy has enjoyed teaching at Stagecoach, Cherry Pie Music School in London, The Peninsula Academy for Film and Theatre Arts (PAFTA), The Wirral Music Factory, Calday Grammar School, The Wirral Academy of Performing Arts (WAPA) and The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA). She currently performs with The Poppies, which is a vintage swing vocal harmony trio based on the Wirral (www.thepoppiessingers.com).
