St. Jerome’s Parish Hall
Helen was born in Wallasey on the Wirral where she trained at a local ballet school. At the age of seventeen she moved to London to pursue her career in dance and musical theatre. Helen trained at Millennium Dance 2000 and graduated with a National Diploma in Musical Theatre and Dance. During her time in London Helen performed in many shows in London’s West End and around the UK.
In 2003 Helen embarked on what turned out to be an 11-year career with P&O Cruises, developing and delivering entertainment programmes to over 3,500 people every day. This included developing and hosting her own cabaret and light entertainment shows, leading her onboard choir in their performances and performing with some of the top international artistes in the industry. She conceptualised and hosted her own unique daily TV Chat show, which included live performances from bands and musicians and guest artistes.
‘I loved this part of my job, to be a part of something that makes people laugh whilst giving them the opportunity to enjoy LIVE music is priceless’
Now with her feet firmly back on land, Helen is excited about sharing her wide-ranging experience, along with her passion for music with others by becoming a part of the PopVox family running both PopVox Stockport and Formby.
